Activity, Energy and Enthusiasm is D Mantra of Baro mase tero parbon r adda community. The old cliché of “Lethargic Bengali” has been defied here.

• Ever enthusiastic members of this community put everything else aside to take part in the 1st Get Together (G2G as we call it) of the community to make it a grand success. On 22-Jun-2008 the packed weekend crowd of Nalban Boating Complex could not understand how those 30 odd people were related to each other. The diversity of age cancelled out the chance of being a group of friends enjoying nice cloudy afternoon. They did not seem to be “virtual”, which they actually were even a day ago. Such is the bond of togetherness amongst the members.

• Soon after the get-together, the next activity started and this time it is in form of a Sharodia Sankhya (festival issue). Festival is the theme of the community. Bengali’s biggest festival Durga Puja is not far away. So this is the right time to launch the first festival issue, called Parboni and demonstrate the creative writing skills of the members.
        Bajlo tomar alor benu: Sharodotsob 1415 - a dedicated thread was created,where members from different region of the world can post their experiences of Durga puja.
  
  
• Another parallel activity is to build up the web site of the community. The main purpose of this web site is to reach a broader section of audience and to promote the community. The development of this website has been done completely by the community members.
  
  
• We met again on 17 August 2008 just after Raksha Bandhan. This time the venue was Nandan/Citizen's Park. We, BMTPians celebrated Raksha Bandhan on that day and strengthened the bond of friendship and brotherhood by tying the knot of Rakhi.

• On demand by our ever enthusiastic members, we again organised our 3rd G2G on 2 November 2008. This time the G2G was held in Millennium Park, Kolkata.We even celebrated birthday of one member in the G2G.

• One of our very talented community member(Sonaljit) recently composed a theme music for our community. He even made a video based on that theme music.

• Community members had their fourth get-together and first grand picnic on 4 January, 2009 at a garden-house of Baruipur (near Kolkata). It was a grand event. Around 55 members turned out with their family. An orkut community finally reached to the bedroom and kitchen of a family. We, BMTPians rented a bus and came together, had food together, enjoyed the day with music and fun.

• Team BMTPrA gathered again at Kolkata Book Fair on 1st, 7th and 8th February, 2009. Community branded T Shirts were launched on that occasion.

• Almost after 1 year of first G2G of BMTPrA, we gathered again at Nalban (same venue where 1st G2G was held) on 21st June, 2009.The day was tremendously hot and humid.Still BMTPrA member simply ignored the heat and came just to attend the G2G.Aroung 35 members attended the G2G.
